• We would suggest not leaving your belongings unattended at any time. We would also suggest that you keep valuables in your hotel room safe
• Local products should not be excessively expensive, make sure to ask for advice from your guide/ representative before buying
• During our cooler season make sure to bring something warm to cover up with as it can get chilly in the afternoons
• When visiting places of worship or religious sites please dress accordingly
• Comfortable walking shoes are necessary for any physical activities
• Beware of counterfeit articles. Renowned brands that you find on market stalls may not be authentic
• Be wary of pickpockets, especially in crowded areas
• Shops are open from 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Thursdays, Sundays and public holidays shops are open until midday
• Banks and foreign exchange counters are normally open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
